There are a lot of different factors that determine the cost of contact lenses. These would include:
1) The type of prescription you have, especially with astigmatism or bifocals
issues.
2) Are you a first time wearer who needs special teaching and instructing on
inserting & removing your lenses?
3) There are many different brands with different costs. For greater comfort
and satisfaction, we prefer to use some of the newest technology in
contact lenses, such as the Acuvue Oasys or Advance, when possible.
4) The quantity of lenses you purchase also makes a difference in the overall
cost. The more you purchase, the less it is per box, and the greater the
rebates from the contact lens companies.
To find out the exact costs, you’ll need to consult with the doctor and staff, once we know the answer to all of these questions.
