To keep our patients, families, and staff safe, the Alberta College of Optometrists (ACO) has mandated that optometrists put a halt on routine eye care visits. To comply with the ACO and the provincial health officer’s recommendations for social distancing, we are reducing office hours and will be limiting the number of patients entering our office by seeing urgent care appointments only. To enforce this, the office doors will be locked, allowing access to patients by assessing patient needs case by case (eyeglass and contact lens pick-ups, emergency appointments). Please call our office ahead of time to see if arrangements can be made (403)255-2826. Our reduced office hours are Monday to Friday 9-3. Closed Saturdays. For our contact lens patients, we can have your contact lens orders delivered directly to your home.
In respect to our staff’s well-being and to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other illnesses, if you have a FEVER, COUGH, SORE THROAT, or DIFFICULTY BREATHING, or if you have been anywhere outside of Canada or in contact with someone who has, please do not visit our clinic.
This is a constantly changing situation, so we will be keeping our website updated as new information becomes available. Please keep safe, practice social distancing and if at all possible, stay at home. If you are concerned about your health, please call Health Link at 8-1-1 anytime.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this difficult time.
